Straight answers and serious discussions were off the table when Documentary Now! creators Fred Armisen, Bill Hader, and Seth Meyers participated in a live panel for 92Y in New York City.
A much-welcome return to the stage since their Emmy live panel this past June, the three pals chatted about the making of Doc Now!, their process in selecting movies to mock and the haughty demands they’re able to make now that they’re Emmy nominees. (“Tell Cameron Crowe we wanna go to his house,” Hader joked.) But like last time, it was mostly an excuse to riff and giggle like classroom chatterboxes as the moderator tried desperately to maintain decorum. (Fred even launches into a spot-on Stefon impression at one point.)
