This holiday season, it feels like we’re all a little desperate for something funny.
Answering that call are two left-field digital series whose strange paths have naturally led them to the IFC online haha hub, Comedy Crib.
Quirks
Quirks is an animated series that’s made entirely by Kevin Tosi. By day Kevin is a successful copywriter at a fancy ad agency. By night he writes, animates and voices short cartoons that lay bare the messed up things that all of us secretly think but are too prudent to share. Thank you in advance, Kevin.
The Mirror
The Mirror is a spoof of televangelist education programming, and is essentially what would happen if Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood and The Jim Bakker Show had a delusional and slightly paranoid baby. The series comes from the troubled minds of the Baltimore-based comedy group, Wham City, who you might know from Adult Swim or, you know, the internet.
